Trump Rally Speaker

A Trump rally speaker, a comedian named Tony Hinchcliffe made offensive remarks about Latino immigrants and Puerto Rico. Tony Hinchcliffe, the host of Kill Tony podcast, is not welcomed by the public.

Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” with an addition of offensive remarks about Latinos saying “Latinos love making babies”. His disparaging of Puerto Rico and Latino Immigrants erupted in controversy from both Republican and Democratic figures.

Donald Trump’s campaign and his focus on removal of illegal immigrants

Donald Trump’s campaign on 27 October 2024 was conducted at Madison Square Garden in New York. He was continuously talking about his plans to prevent illegal immigrants into the United States once he was elected President in the upcoming elections.

He said,

“On day one I will launch the largest deportation programme in American history”.

He even added,

“I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered”.

Trump called his Presidential opponent, Kamala Harris an individual with a low IQ, which helped him receive some cheers from the crowd, consisting mostly of his allies.

He even promised to the crowd that he would ban sanctuary cities that never agreed to cooperate with Trump on the removal of illegal immigrants. The enforcement of immigration laws was becoming difficult without the help of sanctuary cities since the invoking of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act for deportation of immigrants with criminal records needed strict implementation.

The list of speakers in the campaign

The list of opening speakers was varied, from ex-pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan to ex-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. It even included Trump’s sons Eric and Don Jr.

Mr Giuliani was of the view that Kamala Harris seemed to be on the side of immigrants since it was apparent from her support of the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Next, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe did not stop from making jokes that turned into offensive remarks about Latino immigrants and Puerto Ricans.

Ricky Martin’s response

Puerto Rican singer, Ricky Martin posted on his Instagram some clips from the campaign where a Trump rally speaker, the comedian, was making derogatory remarks on the two communities.

Ricky Martin wrote the post in Spanish, “This is what they think of us”.

Trump campaign’s senior adviser on Trump rally speaker’s comments

Danielle Alvarez, the senior adviser for the Trump political campaign explained that the joke on Puerto Rico “does not reflect views of President Trump or the campaign”.

In addition to that, Trump believes that the United States is far in a worse state than it was four years ago.

He told about his plans for a new policy for offering a tax credit to caregivers. They would be the ones taking care of a parent or any other family member.

He indicated his plans about “kicking” China’s ass as the United States has been at war with them. He elucidated that he does not want office wars through, but if the need arises he might indulge in one, particularly with China.

Puerto Rico cannot vote in the US General Elections

The situation does not reflect the same. It is well-known that Puerto Ricans are apparently considered US citizens but they are not allowed to vote in the US general elections due to being the residents of the island.

It is surprising to know that millions of Puerto Rican people have moved to the mainland of the United States, only for the sake of casting their vote. There is a large community that has now created an evident battleground in the state of Pennsylvania.

Kamala Harris in support of Puerto Rico

Yesterday, Kamala Harris visited a restaurant in Puerto Rico, which is the largest city in Pennsylvania.

She later posted a video on her social media vowing to invest in the future of Puerto Rico if she wins the elections.

Kamala Harris knows that only a week left, she cannot take risks and she must cover every corner of the United States to get strong support. She must run up her vote to win the already set electoral battleground.

She strongly believes that she would not be the one waking up the next morning of the elections and has no regrets. She said this in her election rally in Philadelphia.

Moreover, her visit to Puerto Rico yesterday was her 14th trip to Pennsylvania, she is considered one of the top ticket holders in the said region since President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the elections in July.

Criticism on Trump

Trump’s 2016 opponent for the Presidential position, Democrat Hillary Clinton, blamed him for “re-enacting” a pro-Nazi rally. She claimed that the rally held at Madison Square Garden was similar to the eve of World War II in 1939.

Kamala Harris mentioned in her email campaign that this was the same mirroring of the dangerous and “demeaning message” reflected at Madison Square which was witnessed in 1939.

Trump’s critics have been blaming him for the overpowering of white supremacists while completely ignoring human and respect for race factors. His speech is always oratory, according to the critics since the Republican candidate has refused the equivalence to the 1930s.

Elon Musk in support of Donald Trump

US billionaire Elon Musk has always been a staunch supporter of Donald Trump. He was greeted on stage with an uproar of chants as he has been showing support for Trump on his social media platform X.

Trump’s indication about the budget spending

Several areas were marked for which the allocation of budgets was already stated in detail. For example, discretionary spending, which includes spending on defence, is estimated to be approximately $1.9 trillion. It is just a fraction of the total $6.75 trillion in total federal outlays for the entire fiscal year 2024.

The statistics were based on the data released by the Congressional Budget Office.

Future Prospects for US Elections 2024

The preliminary polls show that Trump and Kamala Harris have a neck-to-neck competition that is causing great difficulty in deciding who will be the next US president in 2024.

More than 38 million votes have been cast within the country. Kamala Harris said that internal polling results are giving her a positive vibe for her victory.
