Dublin Protests and David Grange’s Ban
The trouble started at a rally Grange put together called a “border control” event in Dublin. Things got heated, and Grange ended up in trouble with the police for not leaving when asked. Because of this, he’s been on a peace bond for a year, so he can’t go to protests in Dublin for a while.
Grange is a big supporter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, but his rally didn’t go well. The disruption caused by the event led authorities to step in and stop him from going to protests in the future.
This ban shows how protests can get out of hand, even when they start with good intentions. Grange’s case reminds us that while we have the right to protest, keeping things peaceful and following the rules is important.
