Benjamin Netanyahu Signals Continued Military Action As Hezbollah Plans To Retaliate

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirms commitment to military operations in Gaza, Lebanon, despite the death of Hamas chief Yayha Sinwar. Sinwar played a major role in engineering the October 7, 2023 attack that marked a spike in violence that killed some 1,200 people in southern Israel.

In his statements, Benjamin Netanyahu referred to Sinwar’s killing as a “milestone,” emphasising the Israeli Defense Forces’ role in achieving this objective. ‘Yahya Sinwar is dead.’ he declared.
