The double cheese flavour is the right pick for cheese lovers while Cheese & Chilli is for those who like a pump-up of fire for their taste buds.
Cheez-It is famously known as a “high-quality snack” as it is baked with 100 per cent real cheese. The customers would know that they are not feeding on something unhealthy.
Their unique curvy shape gives the right flavour and texture to the mouth with the perfect “satisfying crunch”. Since they are baked and not fried, they remain a powerful healthy choice for a snack.
The Vice President of Europe Salty Snack at Kellanova, Tracy Murphy said, “We have big ambitions for our salty brands in Europe and for Cheez-It to be a category growth driver because it is unlike any product in the snack aisle; thanks to its unique texture and flavours”.
The VC plans to replicate its success in the US, both in Ireland and the UK. The plan resides in the fact that 61 per cent of Irish people are obsessed with cheese. The same research indicated that the rage is so much so that it could decide how their future partners and their preferences about cheese could be.
The reason Cheez-It makes its Irish debut
Irish people love all kinds of cheese: Cheddar, Red Leicester and Feta. The research revealed an interesting fact that the Irish people might judge someone if they don’t like cheese.
The research gave a backdrop of the success of the billion-dollar brand and that is why, Cheez-It makes its Irish debut. Almost every other survey respondent disclosed that they have snuck their own cheese snack plates late at night or even craved it on a daily or weekly basis.
Further, the spokesperson for Cheez-It in Ireland, Ann Rose Eng told that the team is excited to launch the brand in a country whose people are crazy for cheese. They would go to extreme lengths to get that delightful flavour to their mouths, she said.
The spokesperson remarked that the company is excited about its launch in September and hopes to make it a blockbuster snack brand among Irish consumers too.
The snack is available in stores nationwide, in small individual bags as well as large sharing bags.
