Dublin is getting ready for a big party for St. Patrick’s Day, but there’s a big problem nearby. Over 200 people seeking asylum in Ireland are living in tents in a rich part of the city. There’s not enough space for them to stay inside, and the conditions in the tents are awful.

The toilets are overflowing, there’s no shower, and the smell is terrible. Some people are worried they might get sick because of how dirty it is.
The government hasn’t done enough to help these people find a proper place to live. A politician named Jennifer Whitmore is angry about this. She told the government they need to come up with a plan right away to help people who are homeless.
