Harris defended her and Biden’s approach to managing inflation, pointing to the difficulties they carried over from the last government. Although there has been progress, she admitted that costs are still substantial.

On domestic policy, Harris has shifted her position on some issues since 2020. She now opposes a ban on fracking and has toughened her stance on migration, reflecting a more centrist approach.

Harris also expressed openness to including a Republican in her cabinet, emphasising the value of diverse opinions. She dismissed recent comments from Donald Trump questioning her identity, calling it a “tired playbook.”

Harris remains confident about her chances in the upcoming election, telling supporters that hard work lies ahead to secure victory.
