Israel launched extensive strikes

Israel launched extensive strikes in Hezbollah stronghold regions like south Lebanon. The action was taken after the Hezbollah fighters group launched a ballistic missile at Israel’s city of Tel Aviv.

The Israeli army said, “The IDF (Israeli military) is currently conducting extensive strikes in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa area”.

Israel launched extensive strikes, saying that it targeted mainly the Hezbollah storage areas and facilities where they have kept their weapons.

Israel confirmed the launch of 40 projectiles from Lebanon’s side that entered the northern Israeli region, which instantly set off a warning alarm.

The Israeli army explained that several attacks were observed and they had to retaliate for the strikes that were initiated from fortified Hezbollah regions.

IDF said that Hezbollah has targeted Israeli civilians and their homes, for which the country would not sit silent. It was the first time ever that Hezbollah fired a projectile aiming at Tel Aviv and it perfectly reached the targeted region.

The targeted projectiles were instantly intercepted by the Israeli army and its defence system.

Hezbollah’s response to Israel launched extensive strikes

As a response, Hezbollah verified that it had launched a ‘Qader 1’ ballistic missile towards Israel, keeping in mind that Mossad headquarters were located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.

Previously, Hezbollah had clarified that it would take revenge for the pager detonations incident and would come back with stronger aims. It added, “This headquarters is responsible for the assassination of leaders and the explosion of pagers and wireless devices”.

The authorities of fortified Hezbollah regions wanted to answer both the pager explosions that caused several civilian deaths and thousands injured and to avenge the death of their leader. Not only that, Hezbollah showed solidarity for the people of Gaza who have been suffering for months at the hands of the ruthless Israeli army.

Global leaders have been predicting an “all-out war” from both regions just on the brink of the eruption as Israel and Hezbollah are not agreeing to a ceasefire. In recent days, Hezbollah has been firing missiles and rockets at Israel, which has intensified the chances of war between Lebanon and Israel.

A global destabilisation is expected as the tension between Palestinian group Hamas, Hezbollah and Israel and widening their reach. The Middle East might witness one of the biggest war conflicts in the region that does not come near to a halt any time soon.

Lebanon’s prime minister is planning to meet US officials in the coming days. UN is already fearing Lebanon to become “another Gaza” and urges both sides to find a diplomatic solution for a ceasefire and hostage release for the safety of their people.

Moreover, as a result of Israel’s attacks, three people were killed in Lebanon after Israel’s strikes on a village in Beirut. It was reported that the village was hit for the first time since the clashes began between Israel and fortified Hezbollah regions.

The deaths and injuries in the village of Maaysra were confirmed by the Lebanese health ministry. The consequences of Israel’s attacks are massive since more than 500 people have died and 1800 have been injured this week until now.

Schools and other buildings are now becoming shelter homes for the displaced people in Beirut.

Despite Israel’s stress upon the destruction of Hezbollah’s stronghold areas and their finishing off tier fighters along with infrastructures, Lebanese civilians are suffering more. Israel has not commented on its attack on civilians, however, it does highlight the extermination of Hezbollah.

Yesterday, a similar airstrike from Israel killed their senior Hezbollah commander, Ibrahim Qubaisi. He was the head of the group’s missile and rocket force.
