John Bishop’s ‘Back At It’ Tour Comes to Dublin for 2 Days
Comedy favourite John Bishop is returning to tickle Dublin’s funny bone with two dates of his “Back At It” tour in June. After a two-year hiatus exploring various projects, the Liverpool comedian is eager to get back on stage. “I’m buzzing to be hitting the road again,” Bishop said, “The juices are flowing after a few gigs in New York and the UK. Can’t wait to see you all there!”

This won’t be Bishop’s first time charming Irish audiences. He made his TV debut on The Panel in 2007 and is set for a “work in progress” show at the Liberty Hall Theatre on February 27th.
Fans will recall his heartwarming tribute to his mother last year following her passing. Bishop, who had to pull out of his Mother Goose performance at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, spoke of their deep bond and the exceptional care she received at Whiston Hospital.
Although Bishop is clearly in anguish, he also expresses gratitude for the time he had with his mother. “Anyone who has lost a parent knows the pain,” he acknowledged, “But I’ll forever be thankful for the best mom anyone could ask for. Good night, Mum, you were our sunshine.”
