Lebanese Health Ministry Blames Israel For Huge Massacre
The Lebanese health ministry blames Israel for the huge massacre the country is going through. They stated it as “carnage” that the region has to cope with as the death rate is rising each day.
The number of casualties from Israeli air strikes, which also resulted in Hezbollah’s leader, is skyrocketing. Civilians are openly becoming targets of Israeli airstrikes, causing a huge massacre.

One of the Lebanese health ministry workers, Dr Firass Abiad told that it was evident that the majority of the 550 killed were civilians, including women and children.
Abiad also added that 50 children, 94 women and several medical workers are getting treatment at the hospitals. The current count of dead people is 558. More than 50 hospitals are working simultaneously to bring the medical situation under control. The treatment of more than 1,835 people is becoming intractable, he said.
He told the media, “If you look at the people who were brought to the emergency rooms it’s clear that they’re civilians. They are not combatants that the Israelis claim they are”.
He was sure that the people coming to the hospital for treatment were normal people doing normal things in the city. They are nowhere near being combatants, he assured.
Abiad emphasised that when the number of casualties is compared with the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah, the statistics are far more dangerous. He was of the view that this a “more cruel war, especially when civilians are being targeted”.
On the contrary, Israel is adamant by saying that it targeted Hezbollah stronghold areas where the group has stored its weapons and are meant to be headquarters for its members.
On Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes were successful in killing Hezbollah’s head of rocket forces. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel is slowly spreading its wings in Lebanon “to the edge of the abyss”.
Although the Lebanese health ministry blames Israel, Lebanon did not sit quietly. Yesterday, Hezbollah fired more than 300 rockets to northern Israel resulting in six injured people.
Lebanese health ministry blames Israel but Joe Biden remains diplomatic
With the intense political circumstances, US President Joe Biden mentioned in his farewell speech at the United Nations General Assembly yesterday that both sides should look forward to locking in a ceasefire deal. The huge massacre might cause Lebanon to become “another Gaza” which would be devastating for its people just like Palestine.
He claimed that the US never wanted to support war anywhere in the world, despite being the closest ally to Israel. Joe Biden showed positivity to better relations if a diplomatic solution is thought from Israel and Lebenamon’s sides.
The UN Human Rights Office have also claimed the horrific carnage conducted by Israel brought the number of deaths to a higher point in the graph after Monday strikes. The Office declared it a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
One of the spokeswomen said that when Israel told the civilians via audio and text messages to the Lebanese people to evacuate from the areas that they thought were Hezbollah’s headquarters, it did not seem sensible. It would still be detrimental for the civilians as the impact would be colossal, she said.
People are still on the run to flee from the danger areas. Roads in southern Lebanon are closed on the second day after Israeli airstrikes. A one-hour journey that was a norm to reach northern parts of Lebanon is now taking more than twelve hours.
One civilian who escaped the risky areas of Lebanon to a safer shelter in Beirut told that she fled with her 12 relatives in one small car. They had to travel all night to reach a safe zone.
