Emergency response teams, including firefighters and rescue units, rushed to the scene. They worked tirelessly through the night, meticulously searching for survivors. Authorities have urged the public to maintain silence around the site to aid in the rescue operations.

A police spokesperson suggested that the collapse was likely due to excessive weight on the terrace. This speculation aligns with the fact that Medusa Beach Club had just recently opened the new rooftop area, posting celebratory photos a day prior to the incident.

Local media has described the atmosphere as filled with “screams, wailing, and crying,” as bystanders and survivors grappled with the sudden disaster. The victims’ nationalities are currently unknown.

Rescue efforts are ongoing, with hopes that more survivors will be found. Seven of the injured are reportedly in critical condition and are being treated at surrounding hospitals. The incident has cast a pall over the bustling resort area, known for its vibrant nightlife and scenic views.
