Exciting Events to Return to St. Patrick’s Day Festival 2024
Dublin is gearing up for the much-anticipated return of the St. Patrick’s Day Festival, set to paint the streets green with a plethora of fabulous events. From March 15th to 18th, the city will be alive with the spirit of the Irish, celebrating their unique essence under the theme “Spréach”, meaning spark.

The theme “Spréach” encapsulates the life force and distinctive charm of Ireland and its people. The Parade Grandstand Seats and Hospitality Packages, available in limited numbers, offer prime views of the spectacular procession. Additionally, the St. Patrick’s Festival Quarter will return to the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts and History, Collins Barracks, where there will undoubtedly be a flurry of activity.
St. Patrick’s Day Festival 2024 – what to expect?
The festival grounds will host free daytime events featuring music, dance, workshops, games, and culinary delights, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. An Halla Mór, the outdoor tented main stage area, will showcase captivating performances by Síolta Circus, Tumble Circus, and Mark the Science Guy, who will bring science to life through thrilling experiments.
Music lovers can groove to tunes in the Ruaille Buaille Tent, featuring acts like Grooveline and Code of Behaviour. Meanwhile, the GOAL Rí Rá Bandstand in Clarke Square will offer a global musical journey with artists from diverse backgrounds who call Ireland home.
The highlight of the festival includes the world-famous Céilí Mór on the Main Stage, promising an energetic celebration of Irish music and dance. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy performances by acclaimed artists like Faró, Louise Mulcahy, and Denise Chaila, culminating in a session that promises to reinvent traditional Irish music.
Beyond the festivities, the St. Patrick’s Festival collaborates with cultural partners across the city to present the One City Festival, showcasing the best of Irish arts and cultural experiences.
