Dublin is getting ready to throw one heck of a party for St. Patrick’s Day! On March 17th, the city will be buzzing with excitement as people from all over gather for the annual parade. This year, it’s going to be extra special with Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty leading the St. Patrick’s Day Parade as a Grand Marshal.

When and Where St. Patrick’s Day Parade will Start?:

The parade starts at 12 noon from Parnell Square North, then winds its way through the city streets, crossing the River Liffey and ending at Kevin Street. It will be quite the journey through Dublin’s most famous spots!

How to Get There:

If you’re coming into town for the parade, don’t worry about transportation. Trains and Darts will be running on a Sunday schedule, with extra services added to help everyone get to the parade. Just remember that Tara Street Station will be closed until 4 pm, so hop off at Connolly or Pearse stations instead.

Roads and Closures:

Some roads will be closed to make room for the parade and other festivities. Places like O’Connell Street, Dame Street, and Saint Stephen’s Green South will be off-limits to cars, but it’s all to make sure everyone has a good time safely.

What to Expect:

As you watch the parade, you’ll see amazing floats, and dancers in colourful costumes, and hear some fantastic music. Keep an eye out for bands like the Marching Mizzou from the University of Missouri and the Flute Band Association of Northern Ireland—they’re sure to impress!
