Irish Stars Join Fans as Taylor Swift’s Final Dublin Concert Breaks Records
Swift expressed her gratitude to the audience, highlighting the historic achievement of being the first artist to sell out the Aviva Stadium three nights in a row. Stars such as Julia Roberts, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Swift’s boyfriend, Stevie Nicks, attended the VIP tent. As a tribute to Nicks, Swift performed the song “Clara Bow,” which references the Fleetwood Mac legend.
Numerous well-known Irish figures attended the Dublin performances, including Johnny Sexton, Amy Huberman, Brian O’Driscoll, Ryan Tubridy, and Graham Norton. Fans were thrilled when Swift received a three-minute ovation during Friday night’s performance, overwhelmed by the audience’s admiration.
In a playful nod to her Irish fans, dancer Kameron N Saunders added local phrases to Swift’s songs, bringing extra cheer to the crowd. Swift also pondered which of her albums was the “most Irish,” concluding it was Folklore due to its storytelling nature and Irish-inspired imagery.
Swift then resumes her tour, stopping in Austria, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, and Italy before concluding her journey at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruyff Arena. She’s coming back to the UK in August, where she’ll play five nights at London’s Wembley Stadium.
