Teen Charged with Murder in Southport Stabbings Amid Escalating Violence
In a tragic incident on July 29, a 17-year-old boy from Banks, Lancashire, has been charged with murder and attempted murder in Southport stabbings during a dance class that left three children dead and several others injured. Elsie Dot Stancombe, age seven, Bebe King, age six, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, age nine, were the three children who suffered critical injuries. Five other children remain in critical condition.

The defendant is expected in court on Thursday. In addition to 10 counts of attempted murder, he faces three counts of murder and one count of possessing an offensive weapon.
