Best concerts in Dublin 2024
First on the list is the Grammy-winning sensation, Ne-Yo. As part of his Champagne & Roses Tour, the musician responsible for classics like “So Sick” and “Closer” is scheduled to visit Dublin on March 22, 2024. For someone whose taste in music has barely changed since the early 2010s and the aughts, the idea of seeing Ne-Yo live is exhilarating. I may not go out much, but when I do, you can bet his songs are on my playlist.
And let’s not forget the iconic Girls Aloud, who have officially confirmed their reunion in honour of their late bandmate Sarah Harding. The 3Arena in Dublin will witness their explosive return on Saturday, May 18th. Hits like “Sound of the Underground” and “Biology” will undoubtedly transport fans back to the golden era of the noughties.
Another legend from the late 2000s, Nelly Furtado, will be the main attraction at Forbidden Fruit during the June bank holiday weekend. The prospect of hearing classics like “Promiscuous” and “Maneater” live has me considering a weekend ticket just to be on the safe side. I’m not going to let this opportunity pass us by, and neither will the other 90s babies.
As part of her Summer Carnival Tour, Pink, who hasn’t performed in Ireland in five years, will triumphantly return to the Aviva Stadium on June 20. With an arena that can host up to 51,700 people, Pink is sure to create an unforgettable experience for fans. The fun doesn’t stop there, though.
The renowned DJ Fatboy Slim will make a return trip to Ireland in the summer of 2019 to begin an eight-show tour in Dublin. Fans of Derry Girls will appreciate the connection, as the DJ’s return echoes an iconic episode from the final season.
Blink-182, the angsty 90s kids’ anthem, had their global tour disrupted last year but is making a comeback on August 27th at Royal Hospital Kilmainham. Prepare to sing along to those sentimental songs and take a trip back in time to your carefree teenage years.
And let’s not forget Cascada, the noughties megastar who is set to return to Dublin on March 1st at The Academy. Cascada is guaranteed to get the dance floor going again with their catchy dance-pop tunes.
That was all from the upcoming best concerts in Dublin in 2024.
