Despite being relatively unknown nationally just two weeks ago, Walz’s plain-speaking style resonated with the crowd. The hall echoed with chants of “Coach, Coach, Coach!” as he promised to lead the nation toward justice and equality.

The night also featured powerful endorsements from notable figures. Oprah Winfrey, addressing undecided voters, urged them to choose “decency and respect” in the upcoming election. Former President Bill Clinton criticised Trump’s self-serving nature, rallying support for the Harris-Walz ticket. 

The Harris-Walz combo is gaining traction as the Democratic National Convention goes on. Recent polls show them leading in several critical battleground states, a sign that their message is resonating with voters across the country.
