Tipperary Man Dies In A Shooting Outside His Kansas Restaurant
Tipperary man, Shaun Brady, was shot dead in a shooting outside his Kansas restaurant, Missouri, Wednesday evening.
The Irishman, Shaun Brady, 44, was found dead during an accidental shooting right outside the restaurant that he owned. His restaurant’s name was Brady & Fox, an Irish American eating place located in the Brookside region near the Kansas border.

Mr Brady was a father. He was born and bred in Nenagh, County Tipperary and then moved on to Dublin for further studies.
The media reported that a Tipperary man was trying to stop someone outside who was trying to break into someone else’s car.
The locals reported that Mr Brady was taking out his restaurant’s garbage that evening when he saw several people behind a car in the parking lot. As soon as a conversation started between them, he was shot dead.
Kansas City police immediately left their offices as soon they received a call from the restaurant’s address on Wednesday evening.
The police said when they reached the restaurant, they found the man wounded with gun shot at around 5:18 pm local time. The officers tried to help but the situation didn’t get in control.
He was brought to the hospital from the Kansas restaurant, where the medical personnel declared him deceased.
Physical evidence is being gathered from the scene by the police as they now investigate the situation.
They have offered a reward of $25,000 for the one who would come forward and provide any evidence or information, even if it is anonymously.
Condolences after Tipperary man’s demise
My Brady’s friend told the media, “The Irish community is totally shunned. He was a beloved figure, a native of Ireland, just a generous do anything for anyone kind of guy, so, a lot of us again, stunned, praying, angry, wondering, why”.
The mayor of Kansas City, Quinton Lucas was also sad by the news. He said that he was “heartbroken” at the death news of this lovely Tipperary man who made others laugh, loved everyone with the core of his heart and was a devoted family man. The mayor said that he was building a heartwarming community in Ireland with his business, which was a great development in Kansas City.
The mayor sent his condolences to his family and friends and wanted them to know that he was deeply grieved by the loss.
Not just an ordinary Tipperary man, Mr Brady is remembered intensely as he was always a part of an ‘Irish event’ held in Kansas City every year. The event was due this weekend.
The staff of his restaurant are also dejected and angry with what happened due to the man who was trying to break in. They said they give all their support to Brady’s family and would be available whenever they would be in need. They offered their love to his family.
His fellow chef wrote a post on social media as a tribute. The post mentioned how kind Brady was and was full of life. He loved to be happy and liked to share anyone’s troubles with them, the fellow chef cited. He also said that he would never forget him and will love him forever.
Brady was featured in the media for his several inputs in the food sector. He was there to promote Irish food for Saint Patrick’s Day and as ever, KC Irish Fest. The Irish Fest team is also sad after his death and said that he was a great man of food, who would always be remembered. He had extraordinary culinary gifts and his food charm made him the highlight of the show.
The Department of Foreign Affairs was contacted for further comments on the case.
