Trump Says 'Luck Or God' Saved From Assassination Attempt

Trump did trump his death as it was not his time now. Mr. Trump did not realise that he had been shot until he looked up at the crowd. He disclosed “I was supposed to be dead”. He told in one of his initial interviews (after failed assassination attempt) that he was either saved “by luck or God”.

He was surprised that it was at this flash of a moment when his gut asked him to turn his head at the exact right time and the exact right angle. If his amazing guess hadn’t come true, the bullet that slashed his ear could have easily killed him.

Investigation is Underway for Assassination Attempt at Rally

The gunman named Thomas Mathew, a 20-year-old kitchen worker, injured two people in the crowd seriously while one died on the spot. The investigation is in the way where the police still need to crack whether he had any accomplices or planned it all on his own.

Before boarding a plane to attend the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Wisconsin, he was giving a speech. He was presumed to be confirmed as the party’s candidate. Still, he admitted that the consequences coerced him into saying “We would not be talking right now” after the Pennsylvania rally assassination attempt on Saturday.

Trump comprehended deeply that if he was standing there and seeing the people’s energy in the crowd, then there must be a reason. He could not translate his thoughts into words in a split second. But he knew, the entire world was looking and what the facts were.

He added his comments to the Washington Examiner that he was well aware that history would judge the incident. He affirmed that “we are okay”. Had Saturday’s attack not happened, Trump claimed that his speech would have been unforgettable.

Trump admitted on social media that he had originally planned to cancel his trip to Wisconsin and give himself an extra day. Still defiant and unflinching, he does not let any assassin force changes in his life’s schedules.

Mr.Trump said that this was his chance to bring the country together after being confirmed as the party’s candidate in the upcoming elections. He would take his “this” chance to ace his speech against President Joe Biden’s policies that were previously planned for the country.

He realises that his speech was solely to win as a candidate. He came clean that the attack had changed his mindset and would now align his energies to ‘knockout’ for the sake of his country’s safety and wellbeing.

President Biden strongly proposed that in America, differences are not resolved with bullets, but rather the ballot boxes. He talked about the previous assassination attempts that America has been through since history is full of such stories.

Amidst the pre-election campaigns and after the Trump attack, President Biden calls for action to “lower the temperature of politics”. He ensures that the US cannot take more of these violent acts as it is not the road the US needs to travel in a bright future.
