A 40-year-old woman has been taken into custody in Balbriggan, County Dublin, in relation to the Balbriggan murder case involving a man’s death earlier this month. The arrest was made yesterday morning.

 The incident centres on a man in his 60s who was found with severe injuries on a road in Balbriggan. On Saturday, August 10, in the wee hours, this discovery was made.

Uncertainty Surrounds Balbriggan Murder Case as Gardaí Withhold Post-Mortem Results

The injured man was immediately transported to Beaumont Hospital. Unfortunately, he passed away the following day despite medical intervention. 

A post-mortem examination was carried out to determine the cause of death. However, Gardaí have chosen not to release the findings, citing “operational reasons.” 

This decision to withhold information has added an air of uncertainty to the case. The ongoing investigation has now intensified following the woman’s arrest. 

She’s being detained at a north Dublin Garda station right now. The investigation has advanced significantly since her arrest.
