Woman In Her 20s Lost Her Life In Three-Vehicle Crash In County Wexford

A woman in her 20s was found dead in a three-vehicle crash in County Wexford. The accident occurred at 6:30 am this morning where Gardai and emergency services are already present now. 

The three vehicles collided at Barntown on the N25 road. The involved vehicles were a van, a truck and a car.

At the scene, the woman in her 20s was pronounced dead. For further examination, her body was brought to the University Hospital Waterford. There would also be a post-mortem. 

In addition, the forty-year-old male van driver was taken to Wexford General Hospital to receive medical attention for his wounds. The hospital staff stated that the injuries were not fatal. 

At present, the scene is preserved for technical examination as the forensic teams are also invited. The road is closed for normal traffic and local diversions are already in place. 

Gardai request for more information about woman in her 20s dead in crash

Gardai has requested the witnesses to come forward with any evidence for the County Wexford accident. They have asked any road users at the stated time for any camera footage that includes dash-cam travelling in the area or its surroundings. 

Gardai are appealing to people to make the footage available to the investigating officers for a clearer view of the collision.
