Iran Foreign Ministry Pledges Strong Retaliation to Israeli Airstrikes

LATEST NEWS
Iran foreign ministry has pledged a strong retaliation to Israeli airstrikes which were sent over the weekend. The foreign ministry said it will “respond firmly and effectively” to the deadly Israeli strikes.
The spokesperson of Iran foreign ministry, Esmail Baghaei said,
“We are using all available means to respond firmly and effectively to the aggression of the Zionist regime”.
He even clarified that the intensity of Iran’s attacks would depend on the intensity of Israel’s attack coming towards their region. Hence, Israel can expect strong retaliation to Israeli airstrikes in the coming days, depending on how Israel wants to proceed.
A further reaffirmation came when it came to the surface that Tehran would “use all available tools” for a strong retaliation to Israeli airstrikes.
Israel’s attack on Iranian military sites
On Saturday, Israel carried out massive air strikes on Tehran which was their response to Iran’s attacks on 1 October. It was in response to the murder of a Revolutionary Guards Commander and the leaders of a military organisation supported by Iran.
The attacks on Iranian military sites that were conducted two days ago from Israel resulted in four deaths of soldiers. Iranian media even confirmed the death of a civilian.
Death of a civilian in Israel’s attack on Iranian military sites
The civilian named Allahverdi Rahimpour, now considered a martyr, was buried. He was killed in Tehran in the so-called Zionist regime attacks.

He was employed by a corporation as a security guard, according to another news source. He was an average citizen going about his everyday business in Nassimshahr, a city southwest of Tehran.
Previously, no civilian deaths were reported in Israeli airstrikes that landed in Tehran.
However, as a result of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, Saturday’s strikes were the repercussions. The strikes expanded in recent weeks to shift their focus on Hezbollah strongholds in Lebanon.
It is believed that both groups are considered “axis of resistance“ that are in alignment with Iran against Israel.
Iran foreign ministry spokesperson clarified Iran’s position
Esmail Baghaei that Iran has always considered a ceasefire deal in Gaza and Lebanon the only “goal” for the peace of the people of these regions.
Before the United Nations Security Council meeting, which was to be held this afternoon, Esmail Baghaei made a request to take a “deceive and firm” decision on the long-standing matter of all the war-struck states.
Iran urged for the meeting to be held yesterday.
Esmail Baghaei declared that Israel has been abusing Iraq’s airspace to launch Israeli airstrikes towards Iran.
With a vow of strong retaliation to Israeli airstrikes, the spokesperson said that within the ongoing Zionist regime, there is no limit left in breaking the law, even if it is the international peace laws.
The repeat violation of air laws of several countries has given Israel an open hand to attack any region in the world, which is utterly vicious, Esmail Baghaei said.
The supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Israel’s attack should “neither be downplayed nor exaggerated” as Iran knows well when and how much of its power needs to be used against the enemies. It would be determined how best to use Iran’s power against Israel, however, it would only be determined how Israel wants to go about it.
Numerous Palestinians trapped in Israel’s north Gaza assault
Palestine is still awaiting a halt to the one-year-long war. Israeli tanks have further moved into two north Gaza towns. Israel has even seized a historic refugee camp, which means it has now trapped approximately 100,000 civilians in the said camp.
Israel said that it has apparently launched an operation to root out the regrouping of the Hamas fighters, which could be under the cover of these camps or among those civilians.
The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) admitted the capture of 100 suspected Hamas soldiers after raiding Kamal Adwan hospital in the camp of Jabalia. Despite the denials of hospital staff and Hamas fighters of the presence of their fighters in these areas, Israel did not stop the raid.
Details from the Gaza health ministry
Gaza’s health ministry revealed that at least 19 people were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes and continuous bombarding. 13 of the killed people were in the north of the smashed coastal territory.
The Palestinian Civil Emergency unveiled that at several places within the region, a total of 100,000 people were stranded. The places include Jabalia, Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya. The people were without food or medical assistance.
Moreover, the emergency service disclosed that their services were enforced to a halt as a three-week-long Israeli assault was planned in the north. This was the area where the IDF had destroyed the viable Hamas fighter forces previously.
Foreign countries resume ceasefire talks
After several abortive attempts, the ceasefire talks were resumed yesterday by the US, Egypt and Qatar. The proposal of the ceasefire came out as an exchange of four Israeli hostages for a few Palestinian prisoners.
The ceasefire deal could be initiated in the form of an initial two-day truce, which would transform into a ten-day permanent ceasefire.
No comments have been observed from Israel or Hamas on the ceasefire proposal. It seems that both sides have come to an irreconcilable phase that would not be helpful in ending the war.
