You can make some progress on your Christmas shopping and enjoy yourself while perusing the stalls, sampling complimentary food, and striking up conversations with the skilled artisans, all for a fair entrance fee of €12 per adult.

3. Palestine Concert, December 20, The Sugar Club 

Come to the Sugar Club to enjoy an amazing evening of Irish music while contributing to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. Catch The Blood Red Mountain Band, Paddy Casey, Members of Kíla, Aoife Scott, and many more. This is an opportunity to raise much-needed funds for the Gazan people while taking in some amazing music.

4. Christmas Pop! with Sing Along Social at The Sugar Club on December 13 and 14

The silly season will begin this evening with prizes for the most enthusiastic dancers and the worst and best singers. The minifight between George Michael and Mariah Carey will surely be the night’s main attraction. The price of the tickets is €15 plus booking fees, with all proceeds going to Médecins Sans Frontières to support their continued efforts to treat Gaza residents medically and humanitarianly. 

5. Twinkling Lights Afternoon Tea – December 1st-23rd 

For an alcohol-free afternoon leading up to Christmas, hop on a vintage bus with your granny, auntie, ma, or pals. Cruise around town, enjoying festive music, twinkling lights, and iconic landmarks like GPO, City Hall, and Trinity College. Priced at €54.50 per person, it includes festive afternoon tea with mince pies and Christmas sandwiches – a delightful way to soak in the holiday spirit. 

6. Handel’s Messiah at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on December 1 

Few things are more fitting for Christmas than a choral concert held inside the magnificent St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Every year on December 1, the Irish Baroque Orchestra and the Chamber Choir Ireland perform Handel’s Messiah. 7. Kneecap: December 12–13, Olympia 

A boisterous performance by one of the best rap trios on the island embodies the essence of Christmas perfectly. Kneecap is guaranteed to remove your Christmastime ennui and fill you with anticipation for the upcoming celebrations. With their recent collab with Fontaines’ Grian Chatten, a little cameo performance might be in the works – you won’t want to miss it. 

8. Christmas at the Castle – December 6 to 19th Dublin Castle

For the last five years, Christmas at the Castle has been the talk of the town. Free tickets are released and sold out, leaving thousands with intense FOMO. Don’t be one of them!
