Dublin Firefighter Allegedly Assaulted Woman at Boston Hotel, Claims Prosecution

The prosecution accuses Crosbie, who was in Boston for the St. Patrick’s Day march alongside the Dublin Fire Brigade, of assaulting the woman at the Omni Parker House hotel. Assistant District Attorney Erin Murphy stated that the woman had met Crosbie and a colleague for dinner before returning to the hotel. She reported falling asleep in a separate bed, only to wake up to Crosbie assaulting her.

Murphy highlighted that hotel records show Crosbie accessed the room at 1:55 AM. The victim left the room shortly after, texting a friend and seeking hospital treatment.

Crosbie’s defence contends that he was not fleeing but was confused and seeking help. They requested a $5,000 bail, while the prosecution sought $100,000 due to the severity of the charges and Crosbie’s attempts to leave the country. The judge set bail at $100,000 with strict conditions, including surrendering his passport and remaining in Massachusetts. Crosbie remains adamant about his innocence.
