Remarkable Support to Trump on 2nd Day of RNC, from Haley and DeSantis
Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis, two of Trump’s biggest rivals for presidential candidacy, are now in support after the assassination attempt. Trump on 2nd day of RNC (Republican National Convention), was spotted wearing an ear patch, which created an uproar among the attendees.
An exhibition of harmony and unity on Trump’s second day of RNC was meant for the party’s stability. In the past, both of his ex-rivals had uttered sore comments on Trump’s political policies. This time, there was a huge change.

Ms Haley had once described Trump ‘as completely unfit for the party’ during her campaign days. She had to change her own perceptions for the sake of the nation and the country’s stability.
The tables seemed completely turned on the second day. The former UN ambassador and governor of South Carolina stated “you don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him. Take it from me.”
The same endorsement came from Mr DeSantis. It was interesting to see Mr DeSantis declaring Biden “too old for the job” at which Trump was seen smiling and clapping from the box at the convention’s arena. His bold rival candidate and a fierce critic, JD Vance, was sitting beside him, showing his full support with full force.
When Trump entered the arena, the entire house boomed with cacophonous clapping and hooting. It was the same verve seen on day one of the convention upon Trump’s entry with an injured ear. However, the night before, the Republican was more exuberant as Trump was seen as more emotional and gentle after the attack.
Such a display of unanimity and concordance for Trump on 2nd day of RNC was in sheer contrast to the rage created on the 27 June debate performance. It was the day when Mr Biden, 81 years old, was expected to abandon his candidacy against the 78-year-old candidate. It raised several questions about his age and sanity.
Trump on 2nd Day of RNC- A Theme of Safety
On the first night of Milwaukee’s convention (RNC), the theme was set in the beginning as “safety”. Most of the first-day speeches included hatred towards Biden’s policies targeted for the southern border, again signifying safety. Earlier, Trump vowed to impose a strict ban on illegal immigrants which has put an economic burden on the country.
US Senator Ted Cruz asserted the flow of migrants as an invasion. These remarks seemed to be in line with Trump’s anti-immigrant policies, which clearly exhibited a backing for Trump on 2nd day of RNC.
On the other hand, though Biden defended himself against Trump’s strategies, he also confessed that it was rather an oversight to assume putting “Trump in a bull’s eye”. Biden constantly emphasised that he was there to focus on Trump’s works during his presidency rather than the dubious assassination attempt.
The theme of safety remained a highlight as the purpose remained transparent: keeping the nation’s security a top priority. The nation is occupied with acute fears seeing an important man of the state utterly vulnerable. Still, his staunch supporters keep showing their support as his power and vision are justified after the attack.
The enemies know how radical a change could be despite their despicable acts of vengeance or violence. This act openly showed an equivalence of ferocity that has always been rejected by Trump in any case, at any cost. He had now come back with a force that wouldn’t be easy to handle for the enemies- conveying a strong message of safety across the nation.
For reassurance, authorities are still on the move to determine the inducement of the attack. Although the young gunman was killed there and then, deep investigations and their results are still underway.
