The prosecutors are expected to ask the court where Ryan Routh would be presented for a hearing at 4 pm Irish time today to keep him in jail for the alleged second assassination attempt on Trump.

Also, the prosecutors verified that months before the incident was about to happen Ryan Routh left a note in which he addressed the world about his intentions for the assassination. He offered a bounty on the next Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, in the same note.

The suspect wrote, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you”, according to the filing. The note stated that he would offer $150,000 to the person who intended to “complete the job”.

Other proof that gave the case further weightage was a civilian who presented the law enforcement agency with a box in which there was the note with ammunition, building materials, metal pipe, several other letters, and four cell phones. The civilian had not opened the box until Sunday after the arrest of the suspect was made.

Details about Trump suspected gunman’s intentions

Trump suspected gunman had enlisted the dates in August, September and October of the places where Trump had been previously or was about to visit in future. It was a handwritten list that was found in his car after the arrest was made on 15 September.

Moreover, six cell phones were discovered in his car in which one of them showed a Google search for a route from Palm Beach County to Mexico. It was observed that his phone records included his travels from Greensboro, North Carolina to West Palm Beach on 14 August 2024.

A notebook in his car mentioned his criticism of the Russian and Chinese governments from Ukraine’s side and some similar notes about how to join the war.

Confirmation came from his phone records and details that the devices had pinged towers near Trump’s golf course and Mar-a-Lago resort where he was residing.

The charges against Ryan Routh included the possession of a firearm used in a convicted act and illegal possession of the firearm with an erased serial number. More charges to follow.

On the day of Trump’s second assassination attempt, Ryan Routh fled the scene when a US Secret Service agent spotted him and fired in his direction. He was later arrested on a Florida motorway.

The Secret Service agents spoke that Ryan Routh did not make an attempt to fire during the encounter at the golf course. Although he was just a few metres away from Donald Trump, he stayed out of line.

Authorities have not been able to identify his motive for the assassination attempt yet but the FBI suspected amidst its ongoing investigation that it was an attempt ahead of the 5 November presidential election.

Trump suspected gunman appeared on a Florida golf course two months after the first attempt that left Donald Trump injured on his ear during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. That gunman was taken down and killed there and then by the Secret Service agents.

On Monday morning, the attorney for Ryan Routh did not respond to the email regarding his case appearance this morning.
