Reports from neighbours about two men arrested
The neighbours and locals of the area stated that they feared the ongoing family problem that had created unrest for the past few days. They were already scared that a tragedy might occur if similar circumstances persisted.
Reports from the vicinity revealed that several people have already sold their property at a loss because of the family feud. The locals also disclosed that the members of the same family did not mix with the neighbours much, as they wanted to keep the matter to themselves.
The locals said that they had a hunch that their family problem might be taken to court and cause a legal battle between the two. Also, they specified details of the “disputed container on the land” that remained the highlight of their issue.
Locals also narrated several incidents of vandalism. One of them declared it as a dysfunctional situation, like in “Martin McDonagh play”. The residents admitted that any time of the day remained vulnerable for each of the parties as they proclaimed them as “not your regular neighbours”.
County Cork’s mayor, Joe Carroll said that he has been restrained to comment on the family. Still, the community was in shock after what happened Saturday morning.
The mayor said it was thoroughly surprising for all of the community of Dunmanway as they had never heard anything related to stabbing before in West Cork. He wished the family an instant redemption from their tough times and a speedy recovery for the ones who were injured.
Last night, the Garda technical bureau maintained the scene for technical examination in anticipation of an ongoing investigation.
