Buscemi is known to be staying in Dublin for the next season of Netflix which is directed by Tim Burton with his co-star Jenna Ortega.
One customer at the restaurant told the media that no one recognised the star being there with them. The customer also stated that no one from his family recognised the actor but him as he is a great ‘movies’ fan.
The customer cited details that the star was at a table next to their table for approximately 90 minutes.
What happened after Steve Buscemi went outside
The customer added that there was an assumption that as Steve Buscemi has left, he must be gathered around by people as the star would have gotten noticed by now. However, there was a great crowd looking at the vicious fight that was going on in the street and everybody was present to witness what was happening at that moment.
He narrated that the fight was taking place just outside the Dalkey Duck pub and the actor was seen watching the fight from a distance.
Till then, no one had still noticed the star as he was quite unrecognisable, simply standing at a distance. However, as soon as he came close and “stood over the guy on the ground for a few seconds, the fight naturally broke up after that”, he said.
Most of the people disclosed that he was the one who disbanded the street brawl, however, this was not the case. He just helped as someone from the crowd would have done, the customer explained.
The actor seemed nice to the other people on the road and the customer himself as he later told that “he was nice, friendly and engaging. He looked and talked to me properly”.
The customer hoped that he could have said to Steve Buscemi that this is not a general representation of Ireland and that he enjoy his trip while he is here if all goes well.
The Netflix show is currently being filmed in Ireland and the star has just joined its cast on Wednesday.
The show is now relocating its production to Ireland, previously from Romania where Steve Buscemi would make his debut as Barry Dort with his role as a new principal of Nevermore Academy.
